Brain Bristle: Modules of Learning for Inclusion
About 1 in 68 children under 10 is diagnosed on the autism spectrum. Most start in mainstream schools, but fewer than 20% remain there after a few years. Students at ASD Levels 2 and 3 need daily, trained intervention — less than 1% get it. Our students via our Social Work fellowship have made real gains in reading, writing, math, school retention and social skills.
We're opening this training to a wider audience of educators this October.
Year 1 (Oct '26–July '27, Rs 18,000 / ~$188) is two 120-minute online modules a month, on the 2nd and 4th Saturday afternoons IST, with readings, assessments, recordings and a WhatsApp support group. Topics include destigmatising autism, intellectual disability vs autism, behaviour management, DSM-5-TR, curricular scaffolding, sensory triggers, school transitions, ethical ABA and differentiation.
Year 2 (Rs 10,000 / ~$100, optional) is advisory support for schools and non-profits — systems, paperwork, models of inclusion, and quarterly field visits. Open to school and NGO nominees, and to individuals with a background in psychology, ABA, counselling, special education or education. 50% discount for qualifying schools. Certification on completion of each year.

Meet Our Trainers for Modules of Learning
Our Trainers come with decades of experience in education, inclusion, and training and will run the modules across the year.
Sanchita Sahay is a Learning and Inclusion Specialist with over 17 years of experience in special needs education. She works with students at DLRC TLF and has been a trainer with Brain Bristle for over a year. She holds a Master’s in Counseling Psychology, a B.Ed., and a Postgraduate Diploma in Special Education, and is trained in Lindamood-Bell programs.
Her work includes developing IEPs, strengthening reading and comprehension skills, and leading training on inclusion and intervention for schools, teachers, and parents. She also offers these services through her independent practice, The Learning Space. A teacher at heart, Sanchita brings warmth, curiosity, and a steady commitment to learning alongside every child and family she works with.

Sheery Singh is an education professional with experience in teaching, teacher development, and working closely with school communities. Through her work with Teach For India and Freadom.edu, she has supported students and educators across diverse learning contexts, with a focus on creating engaging learning experiences and strengthening educational outcomes.
She enjoys facilitating conversations and learning spaces that foster curiosity, reflection, and a deeper understanding of how we can support every child’s learning and development.
